How does Mirajet work?

1. Laser absorption:
The Er:YAG laser beam (2940 nm) is absorbed by water. This water is contained in a sealed chamber, which is closed at the bottom by a movable membrane.

2. Formation of a cavitation bubble:
The Er:YAG laser energy creates a vapor bubble (cavitation bubble) within the water.

3. Implosion and shockwave generation:
The cavitation bubble implodes, generating a powerful shockwave. The immense energy of this wave is transmitted through the water to the membrane.

4. Pressure impulse creation:
The rapid movement of the membrane transfers a pressure impulse to the substance located directly beneath it.

5. Substance delivery:
The resulting pressure increase propels the substance through a nozzle at a very high speed. The kinetic energy of the particles is so strong that they easily penetrate the epidermis and reach the dermis.
