Combination techniques in the treatment of atrophic acne scars
From May 19–21, 2023, we took part in the Innovative Academy of Aesthetic Dermatology (IADE) in Sopot. The conference gathered over 1,000 participants, including nearly 100 speakers from Poland and abroad. For the first time, the event had an international scope, with dozens of physicians attending from Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, and Cyprus.
Over the three days of the Academy, lecturers and trainers shared their expertise and skills during numerous workshops, thematic sessions, and panel discussions.
Dr. Bartłomiej Sobolewski – Masterclass Trainer, Medical Director at Beautyeurope.eu, and Global Key Opinion Leader for Juvelook and Lenisna – delivered a lecture titled:
“Advanced Hybrid PDLLA Biostimulators. Update for Clinicians – Adverse Event Analysis and Optimization of Treatment Protocols.”
The Academy was also held online via live streaming, attracting around 300 virtual attendees.
One of the distinguished guests who visited our booth was Prof. Maria Zofia Siemionow, MD, PhD, DSc – a world-renowned plastic surgeon and expert in microsurgery and transplantation, considered a living legend by many physicians.
In 2008, under her leadership, the first U.S. (and fourth worldwide) face transplant covering 80% of the face was performed on a woman who had suffered a gunshot injury.
Professor Siemionow works both in the USA and Poland, including as a member of the Council of the Polish Medical Research Agency.
