Mec Regenerate® – clinical evaluation

Mirajet in Clinical Practice – Needle-Free Product Delivery in the Periocular Area and in Post-Blepharoplasty Skin Therapy
She makes sure everything is “just right,” while he sets the direction and isn’t afraid to make bold moves. Together, they are building a business that is increasingly shaping trends in aesthetic medicine. Iza and Filip Skrzypiec prove that roles can be perfectly divided in a family business – although, as they admit themselves, sometimes it can be difficult to decide who really… plays first fiddle. In an interview with “Med&Beauty” magazine, they talk about the behind-the-scenes reality of running Beautyeurope.eu together and about the groundbreaking biostimulator MEC Regenerate®, which is changing the rules of the game – as one of the few to work without triggering inflammation, opening a new chapter in safe, intelligent skin regeneration.
The interview and photo session were published in “Med&Beauty” magazine, issue 02/2026.

Your company, Beautyeurope.eu, operates in a highly dynamic market. How do you see your position in the aesthetic medicine and cosmetology industry today?
Filip Skrzypiec: Dynamism, innovation, expression, education and customer care – that is definitely us. I think we are perceived as a company that surprises its customers – hopefully, in a positive way. Having worked in the pharmaceutical industry for almost 12 years, I became familiar with numerous processes, regulations and promotional strategies, and gained “in-depth” knowledge of products. Some of these mechanisms were worth adopting, while others I firmly rejected in order to make the business I was building operate even more efficiently. Over time, a set of values emerged that was closely connected to my personality and could serve as a foundation for entering a market I knew nothing about. All I knew was that it was the medical devices market, and that was the most important signpost. Different laws, different opportunities. It excited me and made me see nothing but “blue oceans” for the new business.
Imagine working in a highly structured environment and then moving into quite a considerable amount of chaos. You immediately see countless opportunities that provide the foundations for creating a good, long-term strategy because, after all, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” These blue oceans do not necessarily mean having a unique, unrivalled product right from the start – initially, you have no chance of securing such a product for distribution because no manufacturer knows you. That is why I decided to build the first stage of the company around two pillars – quality and education. This strategy proved to be a bull’s-eye. We were not alone in the market when it came to certain products, but we identified competitive advantages worth focusing on in order to stand out. We definitely attracted attention, and that was the point. We organised numerous training sessions and meetings for customers, invited them to interesting webinars, and launched Rising Stars in Aesthetic Trainings, a programme for young trainers, in order to educate as broadly as possible and introduce doctors to new products. Goal number one was achieved.
Quality and education are powerful pillars that provide a strong springboard for introducing innovative products to the market – products that are not yet available there. It sounds ideal, but how do you actually do it? How do you choose, from “a million offers”, the one that will give you a chance to grow your business? You can never be certain, but as the saying goes, “nothing ventured, nothing gained.” Our imagination, market awareness and the contacts we had built over the years came to our aid.
What did the ideal product mean to me? Effective, safe and long-lasting. In my view, that was the kind of product that could meet the expectations of patients and, consequently, clinics. Since 2021, we have significantly developed the poly-L-lactic acid market. We had a real impact on the development of this product and its growing popularity. This modern molecule gave us a competitive advantage and an opportunity to build another pillar of the company – in terms of product innovation. However, I still felt that something was missing – and I found that something in MEC Regenerate®.
The changing legislation concerning medical devices and regulations governing their promotion reminded me of the environment in which I had previously worked. I have to admit that I really appreciate it, because greater control over what manufacturers offer is definitely something the market has been lacking. The more demanding MDR certification process forces manufacturers to focus on safety and on clear, tested protocols that demonstrate a product’s efficacy and safety. The “Wild West” will continue until the end of 2027, but we are among the first on the market to offer something that will become a reality and a requirement in the future. Isn’t that what true innovation is all about? But I’ll come back to that a little later.
In Beautyeurope.eu’s relatively short history – the company is still quite young, having been established in 2020 – we have managed to build all the pillars necessary for further business development. I think our company’s time is only just beginning.

What product trends are you currently observing in Europe, and which of them have the greatest growth potential?
The trend towards natural-looking results will definitely continue to grow. People want to look younger, but they do not want to look different or unlike themselves. The use of hyaluronic acid is becoming less common, and large, overfilled faces are something that will gradually disappear. Beautiful, fresh, well-cared-for skin, a rested face and naturally enhanced contours will shape the direction of modern biostimulation and aesthetic medicine as a whole.
I think the healthy lifestyle trend, combined with aesthetic medicine, will set a genuine direction for the field – one that is closest to my heart and my sense of aesthetics. As an almost professional dancer, I have seen beautiful, well-groomed, fit women and men. Subtlety enhanced by professional make-up is what resonates most with me; that is how I imagine aesthetic medicine. I never saw dancing lips or overfilled faces – and that is how I remember it.
A shift towards natural methods, a focus on skin quality and balanced stimulation that restores a youthful appearance without adding excessive volume. Skin tightness, density, but also an even, healthy complexion will increasingly influence patients’ choices. I am sure that on the streets we will see fewer victims of aesthetic medicine and more people who prioritise quality, lightness and grace.
In my view, combined protocols involving intelligent, safe biostimulators together with laser therapies are something that will prevail in the coming years. Of course, the approach to aesthetic medicine differs across European countries. In some, fillers still dominate, but Poland is definitely leading the way in modern trends. Increasingly, patients tell me that they hear from their friends how beautiful, healthy and youthful they look. They no longer hear: “Oh, I can see you’ve had your cheeks done.” Aesthetic medicine is becoming part of a holistic lifestyle transformation.
How do you select products for your portfolio? What criteria must a product or device meet to be included in your offering?
I have always wanted our portfolio to support our clients at every stage of regeneration. Our first choice was systems for obtaining platelet-rich plasma and platelet-rich fibrin, and we have now expanded these to include exosomes. Autologous treatments fit perfectly with the principles of naturalness and biocompatibility. Of course, they have their limitations, but it is worth moving in this direction because, at a certain stage of one’s aesthetic medicine journey, they can be entirely sufficient to maintain healthy, youthful skin.
Following this path, we focus on collagen stimulators. When we introduced an advanced molecule in 2021, we largely revolutionised the poly-L-lactic acid market. We significantly tamed it and contributed to its growing popularity. However, here too we identified certain limitations. The strongest collagen stimulators work by inducing an inflammatory response. In a way, we force the body into a battle that can sometimes end differently than expected.
Today, we are opening a new chapter in intelligent, cascade stimulation based on a biomimetic signal acting directly on fibroblast activation, bypassing inflammation. This is an absolutely unique approach that fits perfectly with global trends. As you can see, naturalness in biostimulation and bioregeneration is our direction.
We complement this with new technologies, gradually entering the device market. Our portfolio includes the only devices in the world based on needle-free delivery of products. Mirajet is an absolute “game changer” in this category – laser-induced microjet technology (Er:YAG laser) allows precise control of the depth and amount of the injected substance. The device achieves a high injection speed and can deliver a drug to the upper layer of the dermis without the use of a needle. Mirajet causes minimal epidermal damage, resulting in a shorter recovery time and less visible side effects such as bruising and erythema.
The products in our portfolio are unique, supported by research, have a high safety profile and clearly meet market expectations. We will continue along this path in the coming years. I have countless well-thought-out projects in my head, planned at least 10 years ahead. It will certainly be interesting, and what I am planning will surprise everyone more than once.

Regarding your latest projects: the MEC Regenerate® biostimulator is now entering the European market. What sets this product apart from the competition? How exactly does it work, and what indications is it recommended for?
MEC Regenerate® primarily changes the mechanism of stimulation. This extracellular matrix regeneration system represents a departure from inflammatory stimulation. The product sets a new direction – signal stimulation.
One of the components of the product that acts immediately after subcutaneous administration with a cannula is a single Alpha One chain of type I collagen – derived from Japanese silkworms and 99.9% identical to human collagen. It is worth emphasising that the Japanese have already obtained 60 reproducible populations, which cannot be expected from commonly used collagens derived from marine or terrestrial animals.
The product does not contain the entire triple helix of collagen, which has to be broken down through an inflammatory process, but only a single chain. Alpha acts as a ligand, a signal for receptors located on fibroblasts, acting directly – thereby bypassing the inflammatory process. This genetic engineering technology is the key that fits the lock, naturally activating signalling pathways in fibroblasts, resulting in the expression of the COL1A1 gene responsible for producing collagen and elastin.
We can compare this technology to signalling by growth factors contained in platelets, but what is most important is what happens next – the “magic” of supporting the biomimetic signal. The pro-elastin amino acids contained in MEC Regenerate® are fuel for fibroblasts and building blocks for elastin. They strengthen cellular signalling processes responsible for collagen and elastin production while also regenerating existing elastin fibres.
However, what amazes me most is something I had never encountered before. MEC Regenerate® is a long-acting product. This longevity is provided by pharmaceutical-grade, aqueous PCL, or polycaprolactone. From my experience, I know that this substance belongs to the strongest collagen stimulators, and initially it raised some concerns for me. However, the manufacturer explained the differences that are fundamental to properly understanding the product.
The PCL in MEC Regenerate® is an aqueous solution, rather than a powder suspended in a carrier (e.g. carboxymethylcellulose, CMC), which remains after the powder breaks down and, when unevenly distributed under the skin, often causes uncontrolled inflammatory reactions that vary in intensity across the tissues. The aqueous solution primarily provides safety, but it also synchronises perfectly with the other ingredients, extending their activity while gently, gradually and in a balanced manner stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin.
The whole system is completed by carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), which acts as a carrier for the other components, facilitates delivery of the product beneath the skin and temporarily affects tissue elevation and tension, allowing us to observe the desired effect immediately after application.
However, what is most important to me is the confirmed efficacy and safety. I have always felt that clinical studies were missing when it came to new products. The change in legislation and the transition to more stringent standards set by MDR give us, as users, greater confidence that the products we use are safe.
For the first time, I saw in a histological image how the extracellular matrix changes after application of the product. At the initiative of Beautyeurope.eu, physicians from Poland (11 clinics) and the United Kingdom (1 clinic) are participating in a clinical evaluation – testing the product before its official market launch – under the patronage of Professor Wioletta Barańska-Rybak. Professor Barańska-Rybak, together with other physicians, will be able to summarise the results of this work during the Agora conference in Milan in October 2026. A group of physicians from Poland, the United Kingdom and Germany – the countries in which we distribute MEC Regenerate® – will officially present the results of their observations. I think this is quite an innovative approach to bringing a product to market.
The first treatments have already been performed on 103 patients, while the full evaluation across four markets (Poland, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy) will involve more than 200 patients. To date, no adverse effects have been reported, and patients are delighted with the results. They appreciate the speed and painlessness of the treatment (the procedure does not require prior anaesthesia) and the changing quality of their skin over time. This is truly encouraging. I am pleased that I have finally found a product that combines modern trends with documented efficacy and safety.
The MEC Regenerate® product is intended for extracellular matrix regeneration in the mid and lower face. Administration with a 22G x 57 mm cannula (included in the package), with 0.9 ml per side, is recommended. The treatment protocol is simple and clear: T1 – injection No. 1; T2 – injection No. 2 after 60 days; T3 – injection No. 3, if required, after 6 months. Following the initial treatment series, the procedure can be performed twice a year – this is related to fibroblast activity, as demonstrated in a histological study.

What does the process of introducing a new product to such a competitive market look like? What are the biggest challenges involved?
Do something you have never done before, and you will capture your audience’s attention. It is a simple strategy, but not everyone is willing to take such a risk. Today, we are waiting for the final document confirming the CE certification by the notified body, while a huge number of customers already want to buy MEC Regenerate®. For the first time in my modest business career, I decided to promote a product that is not yet available on the market. Of course, I did not invent the concept – the branded car market, for example, operates according to this model – but for a young company, it is certainly a challenge.
On the other hand, when you have a great team, it is not actually that difficult. We are currently conducting information and educational activities ahead of the launch, rather than during it. Our audience is beginning to understand the product, its mechanism of action and its predictable effects. Soon, we will move into the next phase: from theory to showcasing treatment results, which are already impressive after a single application. That will be a real acceleration.
I think one of the biggest challenges will be helping doctors understand how the product works and what new era we are entering in biostimulation treatments.
This is not the first innovative product we have brought to market, and I think we are well prepared. It will be a very dynamic promotional campaign, and the product will be available both directly through our representatives and via our app, which we created for the convenience of our customers as one of the first companies in this industry.
How does the Polish aesthetic medicine market stand out against the rest of Europe and the world? What opportunities does it create for new products such as MEC Regenerate®?
Poland is becoming a reference country for Europe. I believe we are capable of organising a “Polish IMCAS”. Our country is developing very rapidly and reaching a high level thanks to the hard work of distributors. Distributors have always played a role in changing and developing the aesthetic medicine market.
In Poland, the market for promotion through medical representatives conducting effective information campaigns is very well developed. This is not the case in every European country. In the United Kingdom, for example, open online promotion of medical devices is still common. In Poland, thanks to changes in legislation, the market has largely shifted towards education and relationships rather than competing through an open media battle. I believe some of these changes are moving us in the right direction.
As soon as doctors and cosmetologists begin working openly together, as they already do in clinics, the “two realities” will disappear and we will all live in one ideal world. (laughs)
One characteristic of the Polish market is the level of patient awareness. I started my journey in aesthetic medicine in 2015, and back then I saw nothing but “catfish faces” – victims of aesthetic medicine. Today, I see care, grace and style. Youthfulness, health and class dominate. I like that, and I am pleased that we will be promoting a product that fits perfectly into this trend and – importantly – has an exceptionally high safety profile.
How do you convince doctors and specialists to implement a new product in their practices and then maintain that relationship?
Working with doctors on MEC Regenerate® is unique. I never expected them to be so willing to participate in the clinical evaluation – I am very positively surprised. It is worth noting that this is perhaps the only product in the world that doctors are testing before it is introduced to the market.
It is quite a risky strategy on our part, but seeing how much confidence the manufacturer has in its product is very encouraging. For us, the most important thing is to convince doctors that the product is safe and effective. Everyone wants to sleep soundly, and patients want to see results.
Looking at the number of clinical studies and the histology, I am certain that we have a powerful tool for educating our customers. I think they are beginning to understand how the product works, and soon they will also see results from their fellow physicians who are participating in the clinical evaluation.
In promotion, evidence-based medicine always works best, and that is what we will stick to in the years ahead. The aesthetic medicine market is a market of innovation, and MEC Regenerate® is not simply another new product. It is a lone white sail on the vast blue ocean of direct biomimetic stimulation – stimulation that bypasses the inflammatory response.
This is an absolutely innovative, modern approach to aesthetic medicine. With it, we are opening a new chapter, and doctors are embracing the first reports with great interest and enthusiasm.

Which of the products you offer – apart from your latest innovation, MEC Regenerate® – are currently attracting the most interest, and why?
Mirajet – a needle-free product delivery system – is undoubtedly another gem in our portfolio. I followed the development of this technology for more than two years and only then decided to bring it to Poland. Excellent results from 9 clinical studies, together with the opinions of experts from Poland – including Dr Marcin Ambroziak, MD, PhD, Dr Elżbieta Zielińska from Ostrołęka and Dr Małgorzata Ornatowska-Kapera, owner of the Bona Dea clinic in Kraków – as well as leading Korean clinics, gave me confidence that we have a genuine global hit on our hands. Traditional mesotherapy is becoming a thing of the past.
Also worth highlighting is our unique system for obtaining autologous exosomes. It is a natural extension of our portfolio of own-brand autologous products, whose distribution we aim to globalise. We are striving to be active not only in Europe.
What are Beautyeurope.eu’s development plans – both in terms of products and new markets?
As soon as MEC Regenerate® receives MDR certification, we will open recruitment for two additional medical representative positions – covering the south-western Poland region and Warsaw–East. The next step will be to find someone who can support our marketing activities and coordinate promotional activities across different countries.
We are already present in Poland and the United Kingdom and, importantly, are entering a new market – Germany. We will also support our partners in Italy in developing the distribution of MEC Regenerate® throughout Europe and in the markets where we are already in discussions.
Immediately after obtaining MDR certification, we will also open recruitment for another clinical evaluation for a new MEC product designed for the eye area and, separately, for a body product targeting the neck, décolletage and dorsal surface of the hands.
We will certainly have our hands full, which makes me very happy. The coming years promise to be extremely exciting and busy. Beautyeurope.eu’s time is only just beginning.

Beautyeurope.eu is a company you run together as a married couple. What does your day-to-day collaboration look like at the intersection of your private and professional lives?
Izabela Skrzypiec: It’s quite simple – our code of conduct includes a ban on talking about work after work. We have stuck to this for years, although I admit that long winter walks sometimes create the right atmosphere for certain discussions, or rather reflections, on what happens to us during the day.
We each have our own responsibilities. Filip sets the direction, while I meticulously oversee everything related to product logistics and administration. Everything has to be just right. We support each other in every area, working either directly or across departments. Clearly defined goals and responsibilities rarely cause conflict. In fact, they help organise the work. When everyone knows exactly what they are responsible for, things become simple – but I think that is simply who we are.
We don’t overwhelm each other. We like working and living in our own spaces and synchronising in the areas we share. It makes us more effective. This natural division of personalities brings structure to both our work and our lives.
The fundamental rule, however, remains leaving work at work. Of course, you cannot switch your brain off 100%, especially when you are a business owner, but we try not to verbalise those thoughts and instead put them down on paper – as plans for tasks to be completed in the future.
Is it easy to separate emotions from business decisions when you work together as a married couple?
I cannot think of a situation where emotions between Filip and me have driven any business decisions or prevented us from making them. It feels almost strange to admit it, but we argue on average… once a year, and even then it is difficult to call it an argument – it is more like a quick exchange of blows. As we get older, we find it easier and quicker to return to normal even after a heated exchange. Life is probably too short for negative emotions.
Filip likes challenges and the emotions and difficulties that come with them. I would never have taken on this kind of business on my own. I am naturally someone who meticulously gets tasks done. At the company, my colleagues call me “Mrs Checklist” because I write everything down so I don’t miss anything.
From the very beginning of our relationship, we knew what each of us was meant to do. We never competed with each other and never wanted to compete in the same areas. Each of us has always focused on our own responsibilities and done them to the best of our ability – and that seems to be the key to success.
This way, each of us can support the other person’s responsibilities rather than compete with them in carrying them out.
Beautyeurope.eu is a family business. What does that mean in practice?
You only really notice the “family” aspect when my husband goes away, because he is not at home after four o’clock. We function more like a good team than a family bringing family baggage into the workplace.
For us, work means tasks that are done at work, while time after four is life filled with family responsibilities and pleasures. That has always been the case.
Although recently, the “family” aspect has actually come in very handy at work… We have two sons: Nikodem (22) and Hubert (18). Niko is studying medicine (he is finishing his third year), and Hubert is planning to follow in his brother’s footsteps after completing his secondary school exams this year.
Niko received his first assignment from his father: preparing a presentation for the official launch of MEC Regenerate™ in the United Kingdom. He did a great job – his presentation contributed to educating representatives and, of course, served as the educational basis for the physician leading the presentation.
I know my husband loves medicine, but he has always wanted to have a product manager in the company. He had to wait quite a long time for that, but now he can confidently delegate more and more tasks to family members according to their skills. It looks like there may be more Skrzypiecs joining Beautyeurope.eu…

What values underpin the way you run your business? How does your approach differ from a typical corporate environment?
My husband worked in a corporation for 12 years. He saw many things that worked well, but also many things he wanted to change. On the one hand, the clear division of responsibilities characteristic of the corporate approach makes our day-to-day work easier, but on the other hand, commitment is extremely important because it fuels creativity.
Here, no one is looking over anyone else’s shoulder. It is the people who create this company, and we want them to be passionate and committed. “Wanting to want to” is a good way of describing the direction we are looking for and our company philosophy. If there are things we can change, improve and refine, we feel that we have an influence on something.
That is why we try to ensure that every employee has an impact on the environment in which they work. They are the ones who create it. We provide the guidelines, and if an employee has ambition, humility and the willingness to take action, that is more than enough to build strong foundations.
We absolutely do not tolerate complaining, putting obstacles in other people’s way or manipulation. My husband always says that business is simple – it is people who, just as in life, make it complicated themselves.
We definitely focus on looking ahead, because the past can only be analysed in order to draw conclusions that help us move forward.

At BE, you are responsible, among other things, for logistics and organisation. What does the operational infrastructure of an international company look like?
In the initial stage of building a company, you do everything yourself, but that is actually wonderful because you gain experience. When we started, we only served the Polish market, so the foundation was knowledge of and ability to operate shipping systems. That was our biggest testing ground. In time, we hired an employee, which meant we could pass on our knowledge and divide up the responsibilities.
Of course, Filip is curious about other markets and does not want to “get bored” by being present in just one, so he began expanding the company into the United Kingdom and Italy. Over time, other European countries started hearing about us, and sooner or later we had to master international shipping.
Today, three people work in logistics. To ensure the smooth running of all processes, my role in logistics and organisation has recently shifted towards supervision and settlements. As a company, we value versatility and interchangeability of roles. In logistics, everyone needs to know the responsibilities and ways of carrying out tasks of the other team members. This makes managing working time much easier.
What are the biggest logistical challenges in distributing products and devices for aesthetic medicine?
At the moment, it is securing supplies. We are diversifying our portfolio with this in mind. Unfortunately, the world has changed dramatically in recent years, and we cannot afford to fall behind. We are definitely focusing on Europe.
How do you cope with the growing scale of the business? Is it difficult to maintain the family character of the company?
No, our model works. We have reached a point where we know that you cannot do everything yourself. Although delegating tasks and finding the right people to work with is a challenge, it is also definitely the best direction to take.
In fact, I don’t think we fully understand the concept of a “family business”. Someone had to come up with the idea for the company and hire the first employee. We started as a duo, but I think that is about as far as the “family” aspect goes.
How are responsibilities divided between you? Was it clearly defined from the beginning?
It was defined from the very beginning. Invoicing, shipments, warehouse logistics, settling accounts with representatives, and many other administrative and office tasks requiring accuracy are my responsibility.
Filip is a man who thrives on challenges. He is passionate about business. He has founded three companies, and each of them has been successful. Anyone who understands what it means to build a company from scratch will know exactly what I mean.
His passions are medicine and sales. As a boss, my husband is present and active in every area, which probably tires him out a little, but he has eyes everywhere. Marketing, people, suppliers, medicine, product strategies, trainers and all sorts of other things he comes up with – sometimes I don’t even know exactly what he is working on at a given moment, and I don’t even want to dig deeper.
Ever since I have known him, he has been involved in business, and I support him – we are comfortable with this division of roles. We were born on the same day, we are like yin and yang – we complement and balance each other at every step.

What do you consider to be your company’s greatest strength?
We do everything with passion and enthusiasm, and we genuinely and sincerely enjoy our work. Of course, we are often exhausted because the scale of the problems that need solving can be overwhelming, which is why we place a strong emphasis on a healthy work-life balance. We work at full speed until four o’clock, and afterwards it is time for the body and soul.
Of course, four o’clock is a somewhat symbolic hour, because Filip’s brain rarely stops, but he has found a solution for that too: physical activity, which does him a lot of good. I have to admit that I have got into it as well. Yoga, cycling, winter walks – the best remedies for the blues and long, dark days.
We no longer have small children – it was definitely more difficult back then because we had less time for ourselves, but we stuck to certain principles even then. All in all, we have been working together in business for almost 11 years.
One of our company’s greatest strengths is harmony and not creating problems where there aren’t any.
Are you planning any organisational and logistical changes in the company over the next few years?
We are constantly looking for ways to optimise the relationship between costs and quality. I think that automation processes will shape the direction in the future.
After many years of operating from a very modest location that had simply become too cramped, we are moving. We will be operating in a space four times larger than our current premises. Easy access for deliveries, a large private car park and storage areas for various purposes.
The introduction of MEC Regenerate® comes with additional requirements for distributors, which motivates us. Continuous temperature monitoring in a specially designed room, where we already have pharmaceutical refrigerators with calibration certificates, is now our standard.
We want to keep moving to a higher level. At his previous company, Filip implemented ISO 13485:2016 for the management of medical devices, so I am sure that at some point he will want to do the same at our new headquarters.
Now, in addition to improving the comfort of working in the company’s physical premises, our product management processes will become even more efficient.
Filip once said that he would not change premises until the walls were covered from floor to ceiling. As you can see, he has another challenge ahead of him…
